This is an embellished rifle from the factory, and as such, these seldom see any field use, kept more as a collectible than hunting firearm. This one however has been used in the field and has stock marks from use. I had intended to have this wood refinished but never got it.
The way I see it, this is a rather unique and rare opportunity to pick up a 99 DE for far less than a safe queen, which are running several thousand more dollars than this one, as a potential wood refinish project or just use it as your everyday rifle without worry of the loss of $ if you scratch it.
Refinish the stocks and capture the sweat equity or use it. Whatever you decide, seems a shame to just have it sitting here doing nothing.
