Nice Vintage 1964 Savage 99 F Lever Action Rifle in .308 Caliber mfg. by Savage Arms, Westfield, Ma. 22 inch barrel with bright, crisp and clear bore with excellent lands and grooves. Adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. Checkering is sharp and beautiful. This was truly a New England deer hunter's rifle and as such does show evidence of being carried in the field with some scuffs on the stock and minor blemishes on the receiver none of which detracts from the quality and character of the rifle.
 It weighs just over 6 pounds and the previous owner attests to it's accuracy boasting the harvest numerous white tail deer. This piece would make a good addition to a collection or ready to go to the field.
