1930 Savage 99 Takedown-.300 Savage

I have a very nice 1930 manufacture savage 99 takedown in .300 savage, it is the full the thread takedown and the barrel is very tight. I was going to reload for this caliber but lost interest in favor of some of my other guns, I shot two rounds of 150gr remington ammo to test fire, no issues, shot fine. Still has the case hardening on the internal magazine, some of the internals and lever band. It is very clean for being 85 years old. The guns finish is original, screws are not stripped out and im not sure if the internals have ever been dissasembled, there is small chip in the buttstocks toe and a nick near the manufacture stamp on the barrel. The finish is clean without rust, and the receivers bluing is holding on. The checkering is still fairly sharp. I picked up this rifle as a curiosty piece but decided to not do anything with it. It is drilled and tapped for scope mounts but it was nicely done as the barrel threads were not locked shut with the screws, all pieces of this gun (forend, buttstock, barrel etc) are serialized to the gun and original. The bore condition is excellent as are the internals, the wood stock could use a good cleaning and has some useage marks.
