EARLY PRE-WAR SAVAGE MODEL 99 TAKE-DOWN .303 SAVAGE CAL. CARBINE MANUFACTURED IN 1924. 20” barrel with Marble’s Elevator rear and factory post and bead front sights. All original except the rear sight which is contemporary to the period. Approximately 90% blue. Case colored lever lightly fading. Factory steel serrated butt plate. Walnut straight grip carbine stock and forend with most of the original finish. Excellent bore and perfect working order.
