Nice Savage model 99EG 1949 300 Savage
Description: This is a very good condition Savage model 99. From what I can tell it's a model EG Style 2 manufactured in Chicopee falls between 1947 and 1949. This Savage has a factory checkered stock with a pistol grip. Over all very good condition. Light handling wear on the underside of the receiver. less than most seen for this year. Brass Counter, some case coloring still remains on the sides and bottom of the lever, Stock is in very nice condition and from what I can tell in original finish. It has the thin schnabel tip.
