Savage Model 99M in 308 Winchester caliber, manufactured in 1965 per stamp 25S (Inspector number and year code) and s/n 1102208. The rifle has sling swivels installed, has a rotary magazine for pointed cartridges, allowing for long range, accurate shots. There is a magazine round counter on the left side receiver. There are scuffs on the walnut stock consistent with many years of use in the bush, no cracks or gouges. The pistol grip is checkered as is the forend, which is clean. The rifle shoots true and has no corrosion or rust and the barrel is clear and shines, rifling perfect. The rifle last used 2025 deer hunt. An excellent rifle for deer, moose, bear etc.
