SAVAGE. 1899 TAKEDOWN IN 22 HI-POWER

Description:
For your viewing is a 1899 Savage takedown model in 22 Savage hi-power cal. Ser. Number 169xxx I believe made in 1915. Barrel is very shootable but has grey groves. Barrel looks replaced, but it is correct to the rifle with milled in original sight that matches pictures of this era rifle. Rifle has a old marbles adjustable tang sight, and the original rear savage barrel sight pat. 1911. It has the usual crack behind tang on the butt stock. This rifle is from my buddy's estate and is very shootable. It's not a collector, but a shooter, and so priced accordingly. My buddy sure liked shooting these old 1899's
