SAVAGE 99 250-3000-NICE CONDITION

Trimming the herd. Up for sale  is a SAVAGE 99 rifle chambered in 250-3000. I purchased this rifle many years ago from a local seller on , on a whim not really knowing anything about Savage 99s except they are a really cool lever guns. Today I still know very little about them so need your help if my pricing is wrong. If I am totally out of line please feel free to make a educated offer. Factory and handloaded ammo for sale separately. The Weaver 4x scope is not for sale. Rifle picked up in Ada or Durant, buyer must be state resident and willing to sign BOS. Shipping/insurance is available at buyers expense to your FFL of choice but please be sure they will accept shipments from a non-FFL. I will be slowly listing more and more rifles, hunting handguns, scope and ammo to gather funds for an upcoming construction project. I travel to Ada, Durant, Shawnee and Oklahoma City and parts in between.

Received some input on this rifle from some collectors here at Gunsinternational. 

The rifle appears to be a 1951 manufactured, it is most likely a “R” or a “M99R” Model. It is classified as a “nice shooter” since it most likely has had the receiver and lever reblued many years ago and sling studs added. 2 collectors thought the pricing was about market value.
