SALE PENDING: Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a Pre-War Savage model 99 – 99G Take Down chambered in 250 Savage aka 250-3000. The rifle was manufactured around 1937 – 1938 and is an all serial number matching gun! The serial number on the barrel, receiver, butt plate, forearm and butt stock are all matching. The rifle has a very desirable Stith no Gunsmith scope mount and ring set. Along with a Weaver 330 scope that sits in that. The scope and mount and rings are complete and in very fine with no issues with the scope optics. They are clean and clear with standard crosshairs. The Stith mount and ring set are complete and original. The butt stock has two cracks at the tang that have been there a long time. They are shown in their own pictures. The metal on the gun is fine condition as you can see. The forearm has dings and marks from use as does the butt stock. The forearm works just fine with no issues and has no cracks, chips or repairs. A very nice and “Old School” Savage 99 set-up that are hard to find anymore. Especially with no pad added, stock cut and NOT drilled and tapped on the receiver. Yes, the 22” barrel has an excellent bore with no issues. $999 plus $55 shipping to your FFL or valid C&R holder. 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments.
