Savage ~ 99 Takedown ~ .250-3000 Savage
This rifle was made in 1924 and has seen its share of use. It is still very shootable and carries a vintage scope from the 1950s. .250-3000 Savage
Metal Condition: "Very little original finish remains. A few dings and scratches and rust spots,
Wood Condition: A poor refinish on the butt stock that is peeling. There are several cracks in the butt stock where the wood meets the receiver. Wood grain is opening up from age and lack of maintenance.
Bore Condition: "The bore is bright and sharp however there is a slight ring in the bore about 9"" from the muzzle, hardly perceptible from the outside.
Fore End: Plain walnut with Schnabel tip and release switch
