Savage 99F 30-30 Take Down 1925 Beautiful! CA OK!

Description:
Excellent Savage 99F Take Down 30-30 made a century ago.
20" barrel has beautiful, crisp, clean, shiny bore, rifling, from front to back.
Barrel clocks tight to the receiver.
Fantastic wood and metal finishes, with only few small, scattered nicks and dings.
Wood is tight to the metal, no cracks deteccted. Small chipping/wood loss on the toe, under the butt plate. But no signs of impact/drop.
Action interior nice and clean.
We removed stock to have a look inside and put a few drops of oil.
All matching #'s...except, fore end wood number doesn't match. Fore end metal matches, and it looks to be factory fitted, AND, the FINISH matches the butt stock. We can only conclude two fore ends were mixed up at the factory a hundred years ago. Oh well.
A fantastic condition litle rifle, in a cool caliber, ready for a new home.
