Description: SALE PENDING KALEN D...SD 4/21/24 THIS IS THE QUINTESENTIAL CLASSIC 99 SAVAGE WOODS RIFLE RIGHT OUT OF THE BIG WOODS IN THE NORTHEAST.: It has all the good old features; brass rotor, cartridge counter, case colored lever with some color remaining, lightweight F (featherweight model) engine turned bolt with safety on the lever (model change a year or two later moved to the top tang but this is lever safety and cocking indicator.. NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS, 90 % all original blue remains on barrel with light carry wear underside of the receiver ..Recoil pad added to correct factory lenght of 13 1/2 Expertly done light colored wood inlet in the shape of an arrowhead right side of butt stock. Other than the attractive inlet there are no non factory modification to metal or blue. Bore is also excellent. The folding rear site appears to be bent a little. Factory hand checkering is sharp and perfect.
