Specifications as follows: 1953 made in MA, USA., nice walnut stock, bluing is deep dark blue, brass shell counter, steel butt plate, excellent bore and super case color on the lever. This is a special gun. I have owned over 100 Savage 99's and this is by far the best conditioned gun I have ever owned. Folks this gun is 72 years old and an excellent example of the great Savage 99.
