Now available is a Savage Model 99 -G 250-300 takedown rifle. It was manufactured in 1921 and has all the desired features of it's era.
*.Rare .250 Savage was the first to reach 3000 fps
* Lyman tang peep sight
* Case hardened lever
* Brass magazine counter with window
* Takedown feature
* Forearm and grip checkering
* Tapped for scope and bases
This rifle shows very well for it's age and is very clean with minimal bluing wear under the action and at the muzzle, the wood is also in great condition with only minor handling marks and a small indentation on the top right of the forearm near the action visible in picture #9.
