This Rifle is in Excellent Condition with blue rated about 95% with some pin point marks on the receiver. The barrel is about perfect with one small mark noted at the muzzle. The lever has about 98% perfect vivid case colors. The wood is also in the same excellent condition with no cracks or extra holes only a few small dings. The wood has a nice dark Walnut stain with sharp checkering and a factory metal butt plate with vertical grooves and hardly any wear at all. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling and quite shiny also. The gun has a brass cartridge counter and the Serial Number is 576999.The scope is a 4X Lyman All - American with a standard cross hair reticle. There are several noticeable small scratches on the Scope at the Occular and Objective ends. One of the nicest Savage 99 EG rifles I have come across in the popular 250-3000 Sav. Caliber.
