Savage Model 99F 308 Win

Description:
Savage model 99F in the hard to find 308 Win.Built in 1959,this rifle has a 22" light contour barrel with a mint bore.Other features include factory drilled and tapped for a scope and tang sight,a brass carteidge counter,lever safety,jeweled bolt,and steel buttplate.The rifle is in excellent original condition.It retains around 95% of the original blue.The stock is sound with no cracks.The forend has a few light handling marks but no cracks.The sling swivels are probably aftermarket but are properly installed.The rifle retains the original open sights.The gun weighs 6-8 without a scope.This is a great light weight big game rifle for the shooter that enjoys the classic lever actions.C&R eligible.
