Description:
Actually an 1899 Savage in scarce 30-30 with 26 inch octagon barrel, excellent bore and tang mounted peep sight.
Buttstock shows typical cracks at upper tang as most Savage 1899 models do. Original curved buttplate intact.
Very early serial number; 80.452
The early version loaded chamber indicator pops up from the bolt.
$1298 plus $50 insured shipping, layaway available. C&R ok.
