An oversized bolt handle facilitates working the action when you're in a hurry, keeping your hand clear of optic. Savage's AccuTrigger® is user adjustable to obtain a light, crisp release with no creep. A lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, reducing the risk of a negligent discharge. The medium-contour barrel is fluted and threaded for attaching aftermarket suppressors or muzzle brakes. The basic bolt design assures that the locking lugs fully contact the receiver, holding the headspace to a minimum every time the bolt is locked.
