As a kid we knew we coudln't afford a model 94 deer gun (the classic in our part of the Country at the time) but the $ 39.00 or so that you could buy one of these beauties at the hardware store made them a realistic goal with paper boy money or show shovleing proceeds. These handy guns are especially safe for a youngsters first deer (or other) gun in that safe gun handling practice is easly taught...break the action when crossing a fence, jumping a creek or other. Made from the late 30's until the early 60's approx and of good American Walnut and  blued steel
Condition is good overall
They were offered in a varity of cals including some quite rare (from memory 30 40 Craig) and some with a single barrel shotgun from a Savage 220 in varios guages. This listing is for the 22 Hornet , the sister gun is listed separately. Both in excellent original conditon . In the pics showing both it is the 22 Hornet that is on top, the 3030 below . For reference the 30 30 is our inventory # 14-1-1 and will appear as its own listing
