Description: The item for sale is a Savage 99 Model 99EG chambered for the 300 Savage cartridge. The rifle is in beautiful condition having been manufactured in 1951. The blue is excellent as shown in the photos. Likewise the wood is in remarkably high condition. It is free of dents and scratches with the checkering sharp and unworn. The case colors on the lever are still bright. Mechanically the rifle is excellent. The action cycles as intended by Savage and locks tightly with a nice bore. This is an exceptionally nice rifle that any collector would be proud of. The 300 Savage is an excellent cartridge with performance comparable to the 30-06 and 308 cartridges. This rifle requires a copy of a C&R or FFL prior to shipment. It will be shipped via USPS Registered Mail fully insured. Please include $45 to cover shipping and insurance.
