Designed as a tactical marksman rifle built on the Savage Model 10 receiver, the Savage Model 10 FCP is a series of rifles chambered in a handful of short action cartridges often used by military and police special teams for precision shooting: rifles have been made available in .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Short Magnum, and .223 Remington. Furthermore, the rifles were also made available in different precision tactical stocks including those made by HS Precision, McMillan, and Choate and the Choate rifles were originally only available for purchase through Cabela's retail stores. This rifle is a Choate edition chambered in .300 WSM. This rifle features a 24 ¼" heavy-profile barrel and Choate's tactical rifle stock made of a blend of synthetic polypropylene and fiberglass, with a solid aluminum bedding block for ultimate stability. The stock has a vertical pistol grip design and an adjustable spacer system to tune length of pull. The rifle action has a simple two-position safety and an oversized bolt handle for easy, quick manipulations. Our rifle for sale has a Leupold VX3 4.5-10x40mm scope with flip-up scope caps and an extended sunshade. The scope is attached to a Blackhawk picatinny scope rail and the stock sits on top of a Blackhawk Sportster folding adjustable bipod. A Limbsaver padded riflesling rounds the package out. The rifle is in overall good condition, with a good, clean barrel surface, strong and sharp rifling, and no visible damage to the outside of the barrel, action, or stock. This rifle, however, does not include a magazine, but will accept any Savage 10 or 110 short-action magazine. This rifle is not sold with a case or box. .300 WSM
