The Savage Model 11 is a short-action bolt-action rifle from the 10/110 series platform. It was introduced in the 1990's as an economical entry-level hunting rifle. This example was produced in the early 2000's. It has a black synthetic stock with molded checkering and a blued carbon steel action chambered in .308 Winchester, with a 22 ¼" barrel. It weighs in at 7lbs 12 oz. The scope is a Bushnell Model 76-3945, 3-9x40mm, 1" tube and duplex reticle in good shape with clear and bright glass. The scope mount is missing the knob on the rear screw, but is holding tightly. The stock is in good shape with no deep scratches or gouges and very little visible wear. It features a rubber butt pad and Savage logo grip cap. The action is clean and smooth. There is a small patch of surface rust under the front of the scope and behind the ejection port. The bore is clean and bright. Overall, this is a solid, no-frills hunting rifle at an affordable price. There is no box or case included. .308 Winchester
