Savage early Model 340, 30/30 rifle w/Lyman #40 Peep Sight

This is a nice conidtion early model Savage 340 Bolt-action rifle in 30/30 caliber that was never drilled for a side mount scope with is quite common on this model. This early rifle was drilled and tapped only for a Lyman model 40 receiver peep sight on the left rear part of the receiver. When I bought it it only had the rear and front barrel mounted iron sights. I purchased the Lymoan 40 peep sight separatley and installed it after removing the barrel rear sight from the dovetail. 
I prefer toi sell this rifle with the Lyman Peep sight left installed but am willing to sell it without the Lyman peep and with its original barrel iron sights. I'm asking $595 for the entire rig or $475 without the Lyman Peep. 
Rifle is in very good condition and the bore is immaculate. Walnut stock has nicks and scracthes associated with usual field use but no cracks evident. The rifle has no serial number stamped on it indicative of a pre 1968 manufacture. It qualifies for sale to a C&R license holder or FFLa dealer.
