Savge M12 Benchrest rifle in 6.5x284 Norma. 30" stainless steel barrel. 13 1/2 lbs. Stock is laminated, benchrest style with wide, ventilated forend, and flat toe line and is in excellent condition. Borescope examination of barrel shows overall excellent condition. Throat is smooth with no heat checking or erosion and beginning of lands is sharp. There are a couple areas of superficial surface rust on the barrel's exterior. These were buffed with ScothBrite pad. Light rust also on bolt knob, bolt release, and bolt body. Buffing with ScotchBrite cleaned up bolt body and left no pits. Rifle was stored with oiled bore and a clean, dry exterior in Florida where high humidity caused the light rust. Rust does not effect rifle's function in any way and was never present in bore. Comes with factory box and reloading dies & brass. Buyer pays actual shipping to his FFL. Rifle being sold due to health reasons of owner.
