Savage Model 29, Slide Action, Take Down, .22 S, L, LR, 22” Barrel, c. 1934, Beautiful w/ Exc. Bore, SN: 125849 

Description:
*** PRICE REDUCED *** This Savage Model 29 .22 rifle has survived 89 years in beautiful condition.
At arm’s length it looks new. To be very critical, close examination shows a few very minor freckles on the right front of the octagonal barrel. Otherwise, the barrel has excellent original finish with only very minor wear to the corners. The markings are crisp and strong. The Bore looks like new, bright and shiny.
The original receiver finish is free of any corrosion or wear marks. The large screw on the right side of the receiver appears to be slightly peened and there are a few very minor dings above it. Both the barrel and the receiver have matching serial numbers. The action is smooth and fully functional.   
The wood fits properly with no indication that it has ever been removed. It has the original finish, no cracks or chips and just a few minor handling bumps with one minor exception. There is a small scratch on the bottom of the fore end checkering. The butt plate is factory Savage and free of chips or cracks.
This classic rifle is destined to become a part of a fine collection, it could be yours.

SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt.   Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $60.00.

RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee.  Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay. 
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 45 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
