SAVAGE Model 840 30/30

Description:
Savage Model 840 Series E Bolt Action Rifle with Scope in 30/30 Caliber. Serial number A 589397 reflects 1970 DOM. 22 inch barrel, weight is 7.5 pounds and overall length is approximately 41 inches. It has a side mount Weaver C 4 fixed power scope with cover.
The bolt action is very smooth and it has a removable magazine. The stock is a lighter color and is very good with some evidence of being carried in the field, but does not detract from its natural appearance.
 The barrel is in good condition with exception of some surface rust where it rested against the back of a gun cabinet. We do not perform rust removal and reblueing
in house and it is being sold with this proviso.   ( Please See Pictures which show this.) Priced accordingly!!!
The bore is in excellent condition and is bright, clear and clean & crisp.
