Description:
Schmidt-Rubin Model 1911 Carbine – 7.5x55mm Schmidt-Rubin Swiss – AKA: 7,5mm GP 11 & 7.5x55 Swiss. 184,200 of these were produced for the Swiss Military from 1914-1933 manufactured in 1916 by Waffenfabrik Bern (SIG). It is a “Numbers Matching” gun; receiver, barrel, bolt, stock, trigger guard, trigger/magazine plate, butt plate, trigger, sear arm & front sight, rear sight is the only one that does not match which is quite common on these. It has a 23.25” barrel with a rear tangent sight adjustable to 1500 meters & the front sight has protective wings - 6 round detachable magazine - straight pull bolt with a large ring “silent safety”. Overall in good condition.
