Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Rare Custom Schultz & Larsen M54J - 458 Win Mag - Customized by Lou Alessandri - With Claw Scope Mounts
Description: Here is a beautiful rifle! It is a Schultz & Larsen M54J that has been custom gunsmithed into a very fine dangerous game rifle and is chambered in 458 Win Mag. The rifle has had a lot of work done to it to make it the fine rifle you see today. Lou Alessandri and Son in Rehobath Mass didi the custom work. It has been restocked in a beautiful piece of Walnut. Rebarreled and chambered in 458 Win Mag. The action has had an extra recoild point added to the rear of the received to protect the stock. A rib with 4 leaf (1 standing, 3 folding) express sight was added. The rib also has integral claw scope bases and a fitted set of rings is included. The stock has a nice silver shiel inlay with no markings on it yet. The bolt knob has been checkered. A 4th recoil point has been added in the form of a barrel band to which the front sling swivel attaches. The trigger is excellent. This rifle has some handling and use marks and a bunch of small marks on the cheek rest, probably from firing while wearing ear muff hearing protectors. Overall a fantastic, powerful rifle that can handle anything you throw at it. Just add the scope of your choice and set off to regions unknown! We are required to charge 8.25% Sales Tax for Texas residents. There is a 3.5% fee if paying by credit card.
