Sharps Model 1853 .52 caliber rifle. Very nice sporting rifle! Barrel on this gun was originally browned instead of blued and much of the original finish remains. Frame has turned to a gray patina. Wood is very good, though does have light handling marks. .52 caliber with an excellent bore. Very nice example of a Sharps 1852 Sporting Rifle.
