1874 SHARPS SCHUETZEN (OR GERMAN PATTERN RIFLE) .40-50 WITH LETTER
Description: --- SALE PENDING--- This Sharps 1874 Scheutzen in 40-50 sharps straight, is in good condition overall. I has a factory letter, as provided by R.L. Moore. It retains a large portion of the barrel bluing and retains some color case hardening colors in protected areas. It does have a crack on the right hand side of the stock next to the rear tang. (please see picture ) The forend has probably been replaced. The rear sight looks to be the original , the front sight has been replaced with a modern reproduction. Please see pictures. The bore overall is in good shape there is a area of pitting ahead of the chamber. CONSIGNED Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
