CUSTOM SHARPS BORCHARDT MODEL 1878 SPORTING AND TARGET RIFLE CHAMBERED IN 32-40

Description:
The 26 inch octagon barrel is unmarked and shows about 90% blued finish starting to turn brown. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. The barrel is fit with sporting style sights front and rear along with an integrally mounted Short Range Graduated peep sight set in the tang. The action shows 95% beautifully restored case colors with screws showing bright fire blue. The custom walnut stocks are nicely fit showing light handling marks and crisp sharp checkering with near all finish remaining. Features a classic Schnabel tip forend, a pistolgrip with a shell style carved horn cap, a left side cheekpiece and a brass Swiss style buttplate.
