OF HISTORICAL INTEREST SHARPS FORAGER CARBINE
Description:
This gun was issued to Company I New York Cavalry to Corporal Lindsay. It was a converted New Model 1863 to a smooth bore. Saddle ring was removed but the bar is still present. Wood has been lightly refinished. Good markings on the 22 inch round barrel. Mechanics are excellent. Original sights. Clean looking gun that is mostly a blue/plum color that is probably an old arsenal refinish. Supporting documents are included.
