Sharps 1859 carbine

Description:
Sharps 1859 Carbine converted to 50-70 at the Sharps armory, all original since being re-furbished, looks to have never been issued to the field. All the correct markings, including the cartouche on the stock; which has no cracks or splits. The gun retains 90%+ of the color case hardening and blueing. The bore is excellent with he 3 groove rifling in new condition. The sights are correct and complete.The butt plate is in excellent condition. This is an excellent example that probably could be fired after inspection by a competent gunsmith.
