Sharps 1868 45-70

This rifle was built on an original Sharps 1868 Carbine. It was built by Carl E "Bill" Morrison of Bradford Maine. He was a renowned gunsmith nationally known for his accurate barrel making skills. He passed away in 2016 at the age of 94. This rifle sports a heavy 30" rd bbl (Morrison), is chambered in 45-70, has incredible wood (see pics), and is wearing a C Sharps Arms vernier rear tang sight and front globe. Buttplate is original steel and is case colored as well. Additional pics can be taken if needed. I included a Google AI write up on Bill, but a search will produce numerous articles about this gunsmith. Please don't hesitate to ask for more information.
