About Us: Antique Collector since 1985. I also have a few modern items that will require a FFL or C&R license. No exceptions. Happy collecting and investing in a product that continues to rise as material and labor costs rise. And the labor force becomes less about quality. China and Mexico items just don’t seem to last.
US Sharps 50-70 carbine
Description: Very good Civil War era 1859 Sharps carbine conversion to 50-70. For the next conflict. Wood is better than most. Bore is very good with some corrosion typical of a 160 year old carbine. Hammer was nibbled off to keep it from getting hung up on something I'm guessing Looks like it was done semi professionally. Some old gunsmith I'd guess. it actually makes a little more sense to cut it off some They stick up quite a bit. I certainly don't mind firing this is, if someone wants to know how it shoots. Action is strong and I'm sure it'll shoot good. I have quite a few cartridges for it. SOLD Antique: Yes |
