Description:
Here is a Sharps replica, one of the first made back in the 70s, that many people thought was the best ever. Supposedly the parts would interchange with oriiginals. These were made under Garret's watchful eye by Palmetto Arms. When Mr Garret couldn't control the quality after a few years he stopped making them and so there is a limited supply of these quality replicas existing.
This particular Sharps replica is a cavalry carbine in the correct caliber .50-70. It is like new through out. All the case color and bluing are still there and bright. I'm not sure the gun has ever been fired. The .50-70 was our military round before the adoption of the .45-70. It was also favored by many buffalo hunters including Buffalo Bill.
This handy carbine comes from a small family of Garret replicas and is a unique item in new condition. An ffl or C&R license is required for shipping. Shipping and insurance covered in the price. Please, no texts.
