This falling-block version delivers the reliability and accuracy you expect in an affordable rifle with fewer decorative frills. The pistol-grip stock is outfitted with a shotgun-style buttplate. These long-range rifles use a double-set trigger for precise accuracy. The blued octagonal 30" barrel has a 1:18 rate-of-twist rifling. It is chambered for the potent and popular .45-70 cartridge. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation and the rifle comes pre-drilled to accept an optional Creedmore-style sight (not included).
