SHILOH SHARPS, BIG TIMBER, MONTANA MADE 1874 No. 3 SPORTER, .40-65 CALIBER, 30" HEAVY OCTAGON BARREL RIFLE. This is a fairly standard rifle with straight grip and double set triggers that was special ordered with a checkered steel shotgun butt plate, no rear dovetail on the barrel and top of the line Montana Vintage Arms Mid-Range Soule tang sight and matching MVA #113 globe with spirit level front sight. The straight grain medium-dark walnut has some fancier grain to it when the light hits it from angles and is quite attractive. In like new condition and shows almost no use at all. the 2022 catalog price for this rifle with sights mounted etc. would be right around $3,000 with a two+ year wait (and probable price increases along the way). I'm pricing this one at $2750.
