Description: Shiloh Sharps Model 1874, Long-Range Express, .45-90 Government, drop-block action, rifle manufactured by Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing, Big Timber, Montana in 1998. Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing offers customized rifles. The features included on this rifle are: - Model: Long-Range Express - Caliber: .45-90 Government - Barrel Length: 29-inch (not including chamber) - Barrel Features: Hexagon - Vernier tang site - Hooded cross-hair front sight - Semi-fancy color-cased finish on receiver - Buttplate: Hard rubber - Standard Grade Wood - Cheek Rest - Double Set Triggers - Length of Pull: 14 to 14¼ - Rifle Weight: 12 pounds, 6.6 ounces As stated above, this rifled was manufacture in 1998. It was owned by a gun dealer and gunsmith who recently passed away. I cannot tell that the rifle has ever been fired. The overall condition of this gun is 99+ percent. I do not call anything not new-in-box 100 percent, but if I were going to, this rifle would be one. The finishes on the metal and wood are all original. Barrel bluing is 100 percent, as are the case-hardened colors of the receiver. Neither barrel nor receiver show any signs of wear or any marks. The wood stock and forend are similarly 100 percent, showing no wear or marks. The hard-rubber plastic butt plate that is like new. There are no box, papers, or accessories with this rifle. Contact me for additional photos or even higher resolution versions of the posted pictures. The buyer pays $75 for USPS Priority Mail and $49.15 (actual price) for insurance. Virginia buyers must pay 5.3% sales tax. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. I will also accept a personal check or other type money, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.
