Description:
Interesting competition rifle built on a 1901 Remington rolling block action. The rifle is chambered in the massive .50-140 Sharps. The action was modified in several ways. The holes for the hammer and block pins were welded up and redrilled for smaller diameter pins. The hammer spur was filed to lower profile. Polished to white. Its round, straight taper barrel is 32.5" with bright shiny bore. There are scope blocks and a filled rear dovetail. Beaded front blade sight. Came with a no-name vernier tang sight. Underside of barrel stamped PAS. I believe it is stainless steel. All I could find is that the company changed to Time Precision at some point. Neither is still in business. Time Precision built custom benchrest rifles. Stocks are Walnut. Buttstock has cheekpiece and adjustable MORGAN rubber buttpad. Forestock has been glass bedded. LOP is 14.5 ", unextended. Rifle weighs 9.32 lbs. Neat rifle. Ships to C&R or FFL. $750 + Shipping.
