Classic G.F. Stormer German Stalking Rifle – Rare Tang Safety, Game Scene Engraving, 10mm Bore
Beautiful and unusual stalking rifle by renowned German maker G.E. Stormer. This vintage hammer gun showcases deep relief game scene engraving on a round-body action with back-action rebounding hammer locks—a striking blend of craftsmanship and functionality.
Chambered in an unknown cartridge with bore and casting measurements as follows:

Bore: 10mm (.394") with excellent bright finish and strong lands & grooves
Chamber: base .524", neck .435", rim .580", overall length approx. 2¼"

Barrel length is 26 7/8" and features a rear sight with one fixed and two flip-up leaves. Underlever opening system with a hinged forend at the action knuckle. Includes a fully functional set trigger for precise shooting.
One of the most unusual and rare features is the top tang safety—almost never seen on hammer guns. Ebony buttplate remains in excellent condition.
