Marlin Ballard No. 2 Falling Block Single Shot Rifle 32 Long Excellent Condition

From a Midwest sale, a 32 Long caliber Marlin Ballard single shot target rifle (see photos). The action is tight and it appears the rifle has been well maintained. The wood stock has a crescent steel butt plate and is solid with not cracks or chips; however, there are a few dents and dings as the gun is over 100 years old (see photos). At the sale they said the rifle was made by Marlin from a Ballard design (see photos). The rifle has much of the original blue and the rest has faded to a grey patina (see photos). The 26" octagon barrel had a German silver front blade sight and a adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight (see photos). The bore is dark with well defined rifling (I have not cleaned this gun). The action is tight and functions as it should. The action is smooth and has a strong hammer spring and a nice trigger. This is a very honest antique rife and I am offering it with 100% satisfaction guarantee.
