Unique custom 73 Maynard? Single shot. custom made for mid range shooting off sticks 40–70.

I believe this is a custom made Maynard 40-70 ? that has no marks on it whatsoever. It has the super rare  target sites. and looks have been refinished and restocked, The bore is perfect 1 inch diameter, target barrel. I suspect it's a re-barrel,case colors could've been redone. This one's a mystery to me. It's also my first Maynard so forgive me if I make mistakes describing it.    There's a little fade mark on the barrel.. It was used for cross sticks. , The wood on the stock is gorgeous. It's just not inlet very well.I do have some loaded ammo that needs to be  resized for $10 apiece  (loaded Maynard 40-70)and I found approximately 19 pieces . It's a little tight near the base. I did a chamber cast and it does look to be the longer 40-70 approximately .08 rim thickness.  Any more questions or photos feel free to contact me --Jeff Gabriel. 716-883-9527. Pre 1898 and were used in the Civil War.  A tribute to a number 11 or number 12 mid mid range target rifle.The sight combination is pretty much worth the cost of this gun.
