The Original System Aydt is a German single-shot Schuetzen rifle (target rifle) featuring a falling-block action and characterized by a distinctive Tyrolean-style stock with a thumb rest and single hook buttplate, a smooth Schnabel-tip forearm, a winged post front sight, an adjustable tang-mounted rear peep sight with a diopter, and a removable double-set trigger group. Designed by Carl Wilhelm Aydt and popularized by manufacturers like C.G. Haenel, these rifles were crafted for accuracy and were often highly decorated with engraving, inlay, and carving.

The Aydt action is casehardened and has a blued extractor and accents along with a combination pistol grip trigger guard and lever with an 8.15x46 MMR Caliber
