BSA Martini Cadet 310 Original with scope blocks
Description: UPDATE 4/23/2024: I received an email from an individual yesterday who wanted to know what the shipping might be. I am in Ohio, and USPS ships by "Zones," so a part of the shipping cost is determined by the distance to and from locatioons. Another part of the cost is determined by the size of the parcel. I do have a very heavy cardboard box here that I can put styrofam in the sides and encase the gun for shipment, and cut down a length a bit, too, to help save on shipping. Again, depending on how far away you might be, I would estimate that the shipping and insurance would run about $40. I hope this helps . . . . BSA Martini Cadet. 310. I purchased this gun a few years ago because it was in such nice shape, and I was going to use it for a special rifle build. But, no longer . . . . Therefore, it is for sale. This great little Martini also has sight blocks installed. You could use it with a scope if you wanted to. Personally, I think that a little Wollensak scope, a Lyman 422 Expert, or a Lyman 438 Field, or a Ranger Scope would look wonderful and totally "Period Correct" on the gun. If you were to have the blocks put on today, the standard fee would be $25 dollars a hole for drilling and tapping 4 holes, plus the screws and blocks would be an additonal $60 dollars. The barrel looks good. See the pictures. If you have a C&R license, we can do a C&R to C&R transfer, inasmuch as I have one as well. Shipping and insurance are extra. The serial number is matched on both the action and barrel. The gun has all the original equipment. Everything is snug and tight on the gun. You could use it for a build, or, keep it "As Is" and just load some shells and shoot it. I don't have any 32-20 ammo, but people have have had some success with shooting that ammuniton in a 310 Cadet. From what I have read, the original 310 Cadet utilized "heeled" bullets. I have also read in various blogs that solid lead rounds work best to fire in these rifles. If you have any questions, call or email me. Thank you.
