A fine example of German gunmaking at its highest level, this Carl Stiegele of Munich single shot rifle is chambered in the powerful 9.3x74R and adorned with elaborate deep relief oak leaf and game scene engraving—a true testament to old-world craftsmanship.
The action is extremely robust, featuring double underbite lugs and twin Kersten bolts for a total of four locking points. A bolstered receiver with cocking indicator, top tang safety, and crisp set trigger provide elegant functionality.
The 25 ½" barrel is fitted with a solid top rib and folding rear sight, and the bore remains in excellent condition.
