A German single shot break open rifle, model “Herold” in 6.3x52R ( aka 25-35). This break open rifle has a newly lined bore done by "Oregon Gunsmithing". (It started life as an 8x57R, but the barrel was finished.) It features a cocking indicator and double set triggers. The scope is a Leupold 1-4 X. The stock is in very good shape, free of cracks or breaks. The stock has some very nice figure and an oil finish, the checkering has been professionally re-cut as well and is sharp. A very nice light weight gun with a 23 ¾” barrel, and in a very practical caliber for deer and small game. Ammo and brass are both available. If you have any questions let me know.
