"Serial no. 11351317. Manufactured in 1966 at Factory 26 (Jianshe Arsenal), chambered in 7.62x39mm,20 ½"" round barrel. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The rifle is notably non-import marked. The stock shows evidence of “combat" use with damage and field repairs visible on the left side, adding to its historical character. The rifle remains in overall very good condition and is equipped with its spike bayonet and sling. Chinese Type 56 SKS carbines produced at Factory 26 were widely supplied to North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces during the Vietnam War.
