Gorgeous, Nearly New, Russian SKS Rifle, made by Izhvesk in 1954

Description:

Standard configuration Russian SKS Rifle (cal. 7.62x39) with folding bayonet, lightly import marked under the right side of barrel, with hooded elevation adjustable front sight and a tangent rear sighted graded 1-10. Izhvesk logo and date of manufacture on top of receiver. Serial number on left side of receiver with matching bolt, trigger guard, magazine housing and heavily varnished stock. Usual scattering of inspection markings.

Condition:

Nearly new with small rub mark on the left side of the stock just forward of the stock bolt and a few minor handling marks. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. If you want an early Russian SKS rifle it would be very difficult to improve upon this example.
