Norinco Triangle 16 SKS w/Spike Bayonet in 7.62x39 Caliber

Description: This is a very attractive and clean 100% original Norinco SKS made at the "Triangle 16" factory in China where some of the country's military weapons are made. This 7.62x39 caliber SKS is all-matching including the stock with factory stamped serial numbers and has not been force-matched or arsenal rebuilt. This model is the desireable screwed-in barrel variation rather than the press-fit and pinned barrel model often seen. It is also an early import with only the underside of the barrel import stamped in small letters which is hidden by the cleaning rod and bayonet instead of the later imports which are marked very prominently on the receiver. This Norninco SKS features a factory-applied high gloss blue finish on all the metal parts, a chrome lined bore impervious to rust and corrosion, and folding spike-type socket bayonet. The finish on this SKS is still very attractive overall, and only shows some very minor finish wear and some small spots where surface rust was previously removed. As you can see in the pictures this rifle has a very nice "even" appearance. The bolt which left the factory "in the white" shows some very light staining that could be polished off if the new owner so chooses. The original stock is in good shape overall, free from any cracks or major damage. The wood shows some scratches, dings, and dents from handling and storage but appears to have the original clear-coat intact. The buttplate has a functioning trap which contains the original military cleaning/tool kit in the recess in the butt. This Norinco comes with an original green militarysling attached. Everything on this SKS works 100% like the day it left the factory. It should function perfectly at the range or farm and be a blast to shoot. If you have been considering adding an SKS to your collection this Norinco would be an excellent choice. These Norinco SKS's are considered by many to be one of the best ever offered on the commercial market.
